💠 Lala Lajpat Rai was a prominent Nationalist Leader who played an important role in India's struggle for freedom, was born on January 28, in the year 1865, in Punjab.

💠 Lala Lajpat Rai was a prominent Nationalist Leader who played an important role in India's struggle for freedom, was born on January 28, in the year 1865, in Punjab.
💠He was popularly known as Punjab Kesari (Sher-e-Punjab).
🟢TIMELINE
🔶1894 - Established the Punjab National Bank on May 19 as the special step in constructive Swadeshi.
🔷1897 - Founded the Hindu Orphan Relief Movement to keep british missions from securing custody of orphans.
🔶1927 - Established a trust & ran a tuberculosis hospital for women, known as Gulab Devi chest hospital.
🔷1928 - He succumbed to injuries sustained during a lathi charge while protesting against the simon commision.
🔶He was a part of the Lal-Bal-Pal triangle. Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Bipin Chandra Pal formed a triumvirate and fought for independence of India and promoted the Swadeshi movement.
🔷He passed away on November 17, 1928.
