🎪 Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, who led the freedom struggle, returned to India from South Africa on January 9, 1915, after that in the year 2003, the Indian National Congress party decided to celebrate Pravasi Bharatiya Divas on January 9.
🎪 The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebration was first held in 2003 and is organized by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India. The event brings together the overseas Indian community from around the world to discuss issues of common concern, such as investment opportunities in India, the welfare of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and the role of the Indian diaspora in the development of India..
